I’m a hands-on DIY plumber. Like a lot of folks who take pride in fixing things ourselves, I’ve tackled just about every repair you can imagine. But nothing tested my patience more than one particular job: trying to remove water from a vertical copper pipe so I could solder it properly.

I tried everything — tilting old pipes, repurposing spray bottles, even sucking water out manually. It was messy, inefficient, and honestly a bit ridiculous. I knew there had to be a better way.

So I reached out to a few experienced professional plumbers. Together, we brainstormed, tested, refined — and finally, we created the Plumbers Snake.
